one hour later...
They are still playing Star Wars house. Caleb just said to Maggie in a very dramatic tone, "Mom, I'm a bad guy now. I am going to the dark side." Maggie said, "Caleb, pretend you kill me." What is going on over here?! I said firmly, "there will be no pretend killing of mothers in this house!" It goes on the list of "things I never thought I'd have to say as a mother".

So Caleb goes to the dark side an hour after Maggie goes to the bright side, huh? That was brilliance on her part, after all, letting the little men think they're playing on THEIR terms. Lovin' it.
Did you read where Joel was slinking around the jewelry department of Sears, pretending to be a sniper with a semi-automatic?
I asked him what he was doing and
he said gruffly, "I've. Got. One. Kill. Left."
