Crunches
I was asking my 6 year old, Israel, to summarize the chapter I just read from The Door in the Wall. He said, "The boy who couldn't walk was going to get crunches to help him get around."
keeping track of the cute things my kids say each day

Laurie,
I did "Door in the Wall" w/ my 5th/6th graders, and it was difficult for them. I'm way impressed w/ your ambition and your children's willingness to get through that!! Way to set a high bar for the rest of us! :)
And, I can't wait for that stage when the boys start saying cute things like that. For now, I'll take their adorable smiles and slobery kisses!

I'm reading it out loud to them. THey aren't getting the old english stuff, so I paraphrase as I read. Don't be too impressed :)

My son just stopped saying "ung-yuns" for "onions." I thought he'd never outgrow that. Now that he has, I miss it.
